HCPAC Radio Show-February 28 at 7:00 PM

Henderson County Performing Arts Center’s original radio play entitled For the Love of an Outlaw” will air on KLVQ 94.5 FM and 1410 AM on Feb. 28 at 7 pm. Written by Steve Leach“For the Love of an Outlaw” is a high-spirited western comedy and features John Wilson, Ami Hickmon, Cameron Griffis, Fran Bardwell, Jim Ogburn and Mary McCreary… and is narrated by Gordon Mayhall

 It’s 1872 in Red Branch, TX. Francis Dowd has had his eye on Sadie Brewster most all his goll-dern life. But Sadie’s got her eye on the outlaw Ornery Ted Waverly! Tune into the HCPAC Radio Show and discover how things saunter from bad to worse. And who’ll finally win Sadie’s hand!

This broadcast is dedicated to the memory of HCPAC’s heart and soul, friend and mentor to so many who crossed the HCPAC stage. Dennis Gilmore, our Executive Director Emeritus… who we lost in late January. We hope he’d be proud of our radio show and that that this little Athens theater can still bring entertainment to the community even while we have to remain dark. If you’d like to make a donation to HCPAC, nothing would honor Dennis more.
