The Henderson County Performing Arts Center is a BLESSED to have just completed a complete overhaul of it's technical theatre systems. Modernizing our Audio, Video, Lighting, and projection systems with the latest technology and software. 





Our technical training programs are designed to develop skills to allow for working in real world theatrical and live event enviermants. From terminology, and basic knowledge to advanced programming and theory HCPAC training will give you the tools to pursue opportunities in Broadway productions, concert or theatrical touring, and other media markets.

WES AKIN

Wes is our Technical Director for HCPAC and oversees all technology on campus. He also certifies volunteers for operation of equipment for upcoming shows. Wes has over 25 years of experience in live production from Concert touring to live theatre. He currently owns and operates Gain Stage Productions here in Athens. Wes's goal is to develop young talented technicians who wish to grow the skills required to pursue a career in the technical arts.
